F.A.Q.

Payment is expected before each service starts. For boarding that would be at the time of pet drop off. We take cash, pay through Venmo or check. If you plan to leave payment but forget, you can pay through Venmo.

A drop in is each scheduled time we come to your home. Most people find a 30 minute visit sufficient, though we offer 60 minute, and 15 minute visits as well. During a visit, HTH will feed, medicate, play with, clean-up after, and love each of your pets according to the instructions you provided. Your sitter will send you pics during the visit. As a courtesy, we also check for packages & mail. 

Boarding Rates are based on a 24 hour time period from drop-off to pick-up. Extended care rates will apply for each pet on the booking if the end time on the final day of the stay is more than 4 hours later than the start time on the first day of the stay.

4-6 extra hours = 50% of nightly rate
6+ extra hours = 100% of nightly rate 

Please have 2 ways to access your home ready to share at the meet & greet. Our favorite is a door passcode or garage code with a backup key in a secure lockbox on your property. WE CAN NOT TAKE KEYS WITH US. WE WILL NOT DOWNLOAD AN APP TO ACCESS YOUR HOME AND WE CAN’T WAIT AT A GATE TO CALL YOU TO LET US IN.

In other words, we must have a way to access your home AT your home.

Alarms: if you feel comfortable skipping the alarm, we would love that! If you set a specific code for your pet sitter, PLEASE set a reminder that reminds YOU to set the proper code when you depart to avoid the police coming.

We have done farm visits with chickens, goats and horses.

We have pet sit birds, rabbits, chinchillas, sugar gliders, iguanas, bearded dragons, snakes, rats, frogs, fish, guinea pigs, turtles, pocket pets, lizards, & ferrets.

We have scratched behind the ears of just about every breed of dog and cat!
